NCTO Council: Fabric
Founded in 1972, Venus Group began with the Patel family selling imported towels from the back of a car. Through patience, determination and a commitment to quality, the California-headquartered business evolved into a global company with 600 employees worldwide, including a team of award winning designers and 20+ textile engineers.
An in-house design studio and state-of-the-art equipment make for a vertical manufacturing system that’s rare in the industry of textile suppliers, ensuring consistent quality and affordability. Our manufacturing strength also enables us to ship finished products within 24-48 hours. Stock items, meanwhile, ship on the same day. Even custom orders have a quick turnaround time thanks to our 170,000 square-foot Foothill Ranch, California and ISO 9001:2015 Certified 140,000 square-foot Fort Lawn, South Carolina cut-and-sew operations.
Since the start, Venus has promoted business practices that are consistent with environmental policies and developing smarter products through innovative technologies. We call these Smart Solutions for a Better World™. That’s the inspiration behind our cooperative cotton cultivation program, which improves the lives of rural farmers. It’s why we harvest and store rainwater and use leftover fabric instead of packing material for bales. It’s why our towels, sheets and napery are designed to last longer, wash easier and dry faster.
