Thomaston Mills was founded in 1899 by R.E. Hightower and is the oldest domestic sheet mill in the USA. We were owned by the Hightower family until 2001, and have been owned by the Zaslow family since that time. Combined the two families have over 200 years of textile industry experience. Thomaston Mills continues to operate as a family business that puts the customer first.

We currently specialize in manufacturing and distribution of the highest quality bed and bath linens to the hospitality, healthcare and institutional markets. We cut and sew over 40 million yards of custom-made fabric each year in our 250,000 square foot manufacturing and warehousing facility located in Thomaston, GA. At the end of 2018, we purchased our main finishing subcontractor Palmetto Finishing in Easley SC.  After a large round of investment upgrades, in 2020 we have opened our new Thomaston Finishing division as a commission finisher as well.

At our office headquarters in Wyncote PA and at our Georgia and South Carolina plants, you will find a team of hard working professionals with unparalleled experience in making high value textiles that save our customers money by staying comfortable and attractive longer. We are the value leader in the institutional market and are proud of both our history and present.
