Mobilizing Support for the
U.S.
Textile Industry in the 21st
Century
The National Council of Textile Organizations (NCTO) is a unique
association representing the entire spectrum of
the textile industry. From fibers to finished
products, machinery manufacturers to power
suppliers, NCTO is the voice of the U.S. textile
industry.
NCTO's mission is focused on creating powerful alliances and coalitions to
advance the interests of the U.S. textile industry.
As an organization, NCTO is unrivaled in the
diversity of the companies that belong to the
organization.
This depth affords each segment of the
industry to play a role and have a vote in the
development and approval of NTCO policy.
There are four separate councils that comprise the NCTO leadership
structure, each council represents a segment of the
textile industry: fiber, fabric, supplier, and yarn.
Each council elects its own officers who make
up NCTO's Board of Directors.
As an advocacy organization, NCTO is harnessing the influence of an array
of associations and business groups that have a
stake in the survival and prosperity of the U.S.
textile industry.
To that end, NCTO leverages these interests
to pursue public policy reforms in Congress.
NCTO is also mobilizing global resources in its efforts to preserve the
U.S. textile industry. From Washington, DC, to
Geneva, to Beijing, our voice is global, it is heard
and is having a global impact.
NCTO is on the front
lines meeting the challenges of the 21st Century.
NCTO is domestically focused to ensure a
prosperous future for the U.S. textile industry and
globally driven to tap into the vast resources that
our allies afford us in order to establish a
balanced and fair trade environment.
